Exhibition of works made by the students of the Faculty of Applied Arts titled “PORTRAIT” is open for viewing at the Gallery of the Belgrade Fortress at the Inner Stambol Gate between November 12 and December 7, 2021, every day except Monday. The Gallery working hours are between 10 am and 5 pm, and the entry is free.
The exhibition participants are the following freshmen and sophomores: Mihailović Lara, Gavrić Katarina, Stojanović Jelena, Pašić Aleksa, Marković Sofija, Dosković Anja, Cakić Nevena, Govedarica Valentina, Božilović Iva, Vujić Sofija, Zavišin Bojan, Đurić Milica, Erdeljanović Maša, Popović Ružica, Delić Tijana, Isić Irena, Blagojević Ljubica, Božović Jana, Mitić Bogdan, Popović Mila, Kucurski Marija, Cvitkovac Marija, Mitić Kristina and Vasić Marko.
Even though these are young artists, their works by all means confirm John Ruskin’s famous quote: “Drawing is the probity of art. To draw does not mean simply to reproduce contours: drawing does not consist merely of line: drawing is also expression, the inner form, the plane, the modeling. See what remains after that.”
