Blog

The exhibition of works of first and second-year students of the Faculty of Applied Arts can be seen in the Gallery of the Belgrade Fortress in the Inner Stambol Gate starting from 9th December until 11th January 2022, every day except Monday. The opening hours of the gallery are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free.

Participants in the exhibition are first and second-year students: Jelena Ilić, Sofija Vujić, Jovana Ilić, Tatjana Gadža, Jovana Ratkov, Marijana Crnobrnja, Sara Marković, Igor Kantar, Dmitra Kundačina, Marijana Crnobrnja, Nemanja Dikić, and Milica Bogdanović.

The presented works were created by students of the first and second years of the department of Applied Painting, the department of Applied Sculpture and the department of Conservation and Restoration and reflect the moment of creative vision and unrestrained elation of discovering personal expression in, for them, the still little-known domain of the original graphic print.

All the authors of the displayed prints are characterized by a common artistic curiosity, creativity that does not give way to an unknown area and the recognition of all the benefits that a young artist can acquire at the beginning of their education from such a demanding artistic discipline such as graphics.

Young painters, sculptors, and conservators whose hours, months and years of work were devoted to the realization of these exhibited prints have much more to say in the field of artistic graphics, and with their endless talent, they deserve the attention of visitors.
