A new, enhanced mobile application for visiting Belgrade Fortress is now available to all users of the Smartphones, offering the most up-to-date way to get to know the history and monumental heritage.
The mobile application, presented today at a press conference at the Serbian Tourist Organization, provides a diverse and comprehensive way to inform the importance of the cultural heritage of Belgrade Fortress.
In an easy and fast way, the app takes users to 29 locations at Belgrade Fortress and brings interesting stories about them. In addition to photos and texts about significant sites on the Fortress and historical data, the app also offers audio tracks. All points presented are divided into three segments, just like the complex itself (Upper Town, Lower Town and Kalemegdan Park).
The application is available in six languages: Serbian, English, German, Russian, Chinese and Turkish.
With the realization of this project, the tourist infrastructure was improved and modernized through the digitization of cultural heritage and cultural monuments in the Belgrade Fortress. The tourist offer is enriched, in an interesting and easily accessible way for the user – using mobile phones. Every visitor can easily download a mobile presentation from Google play or the App Store and thus get a free audio guide for Belgrade Fortress.

The project was implemented by the companies Go Tu Tek and OROUNDO and PE “Belgrade Fortress”, thanks to the funds of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia.
