June 14th 2013

Whitesnake held a concert at Lower Town of Belgrade Fortress in front of about 15,000 fans.

Two hours of fantastic performance on the open showed that the “Whitesnake” is always welcome in Belgrade. Since this is not the first time the band is performing in Serbian capital, they are close with the audience so they did not waste time on idling. “Hello, Belgrade,” was the only thing David Coverdale said in front of 15,000 fans, and then lifted the stand with his microphone and started with phenomenal singing. The band started with “Give me all your love tonight” – which the audience sang together with the band, and afterwords followed hits like “Ready an ‘Willing”, “Here I go on my own”, “Is this love”, “Fool for your lovin’ “… The stage was crossed with lasers of all colors, and screams were heard from thousands of throats. In addition to the greatest hits, the band also performed hits from 2011. “Forever More” and “I’ll Set You Free”. Hits rolled one after another for almost two hours, and the atmosphere was heated up to the maximum. They completely justified the title of their tour – “The year of the snake” – Belgrade was in the sign of the snake the entire Friday night.
