The third Ilustrofest – a unique festival of illustration in the country and the region, will be held this year from 22 to 25 July in Kalemegdan (plateau in front of the Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzorić), with the support of the general sponsor Banka Poštanska Štedionica and friends of creativity: PЕ Belgrade Fortress, PUC City Markets and DexyCo Publishing.

350 authors from 30 countries applied for the competition. This is a record number of applications according to the number of interested artists from all over the world as well as according to the number of submitted works (over 3,000).

The expert jury selected 114 authors from 23 countries who passed the selection and whose works will be on display at a large international exhibition of the best illustrators and illustrations.

At the grand opening of the Festival on July 22 at 8 pm, awards will be presented to the best illustrators in all 5 festival categories, as well as the Grand Prix for the best illustrator from this year’s extremely rich selection. A party is to follow in honor of the winners, with music provided by DJ Nadežda Dimitrijević.

In addition to the large international exhibition of the best illustrations, as every year, the Illustration Bazaar will be organized this year as well. Thanks to PE Belgrade Fortress and PUC City Markets, young artists get the opportunity to exhibit and sell their illustrations for free, as well as illustrated goods (jewelry, bags, T-shirts, dishes, diaries, posters, etc.). The Illustration Bazaar lasts from 7 to 10 pm (July 22, on the opening day of the Festival, on 23 and 24 as well as on the closing day of the Festival on July 25).
