Youth Biennial – LANGUAGE IN COMMON, an international exhibition of contemporary youth art, which is presented to the Belgrade public for the first time this year, will be opened on July 29th, and will last until September 5th, 2021. Youth Biennial is organized under the auspices of ULUS at several locations in Belgrade (Art Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzoric, ULUS Gallery, Roman Well, Military Bunker, Large Gunpowder Warehouse, Hamam (Old Turkish Bath) – Planetarium, Clock Tower, Nebojsa Tower, CC Footnote, CC Magacin and various other public spaces) focusing on the area of Belgrade Fortress.

The opening ceremony is going to be held on July 29th at 5 pm in the Art Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzoric at Mali Kalemegdan No. 1, when all other exhibition spaces will be opened as well. The picnic organized on the occasion of the Biennial opening will take place at the plateau in front of the Planetarium, in the Lower Town of Belgrade Fortress between 5 pm and midnight.

Youth Biennial – LANGUAGE IN COMMON, 2021 is implemented by the Youth Biennial Organization Team in cooperation with the ULUS Arts Council, and the novelty that this project brings is about 40 new works of art by young artists.

The exhibition is segmented into 11 exhibition units partaken by the total of 118 exhibitors from all over the world, whereby a large number of participants will also participate in the accompanying program of the Biennial.

For all those interested in visiting the events at the Belgrade Fortress, we hereby provide a summary of the working hours of the most significant locations, with a reminder that many events are organized out in the open.

On the opening day, admission to the Youth Biennial will be free of charge at all locations, and during the Biennial, the admission fee for visits to Gunpowder Magazine, Military Bunker and Roman Well, will be charged at a 50% reduced price compared to the regular price for all those who follow the procedure foreseen by Youth Biennale organizers.
