For the first time in the history of school sports, the international sports competition for primary school students called World School Sports Games will take place in Belgrade, in the Lower Town of the Belgrade Fortress, from 11 to 19 September.

The best athletes in the world have the Olympic Games, university students have the Universiade, and primary school students now have the World School Sports Games. For the first time, primary school students from all over the world will gather in one place and compete in as many as 14 sports. The premiere of this international competition will be organized with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the International School Sports Federation (ISF) and organized by the Serbian School Sports Federation. About 1,700 young athletes, from as many as 35 countries, will arrive in Serbia and be the guests of our capital.

All competitions will take place without the presence of the audience, with strict observance of all preventive measures in force, in accordance with the current epidemiological situation.
