The Day of Planet Earth was jointly marked today in the Princess Ljubica’s Residence, organized by the Museum of the City of Belgrade. Attendees and distinguished guests attended the planting of the apple tree, which is associated with health and immortality. The ceremony was opened by the Museum Director Jelena Medaković, and then the wife of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Tamara Vučić, symbolically planted a tree and released the sparrows from the cage, which are the symbol of the city of Belgrade.

This event was also attended by the director of the PE “Belgrade Fortress”, Marija Reljić.
