Blog

A large military camp of the IV Flavia Legion was begirded by stone walls and defensive trenches in front of them. Towers from which guards watched the surroundings were deployed at a regular distance. The camp was entered from four sides, each having a gate. Southeast Gate, port decumana, was discovered in the basement of the Belgrade City Library and today its remains can be seen at the Rome Hall.

The publication was printed in April 2010 as the following material of the event “Days of Belgrade.”
