Necropolises From the Migration Period in Singidunum

The remains of material culture found in necropolis from the Migration Period in Singidunum were presented on forty-five large prints at the Sava Promenade at Kalemegdan Park.

This exhibition is thematically related to the scientific congress held in SANU premises on October 12-13 2009. The congress was organized by the Institute of Archaeology SANU in cooperation with the French Centre for Scientific Research CNRS (CENTRE NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE).

Exhibition „Necropolis from the Migration Period in Singidunum” has been accomplished аs a collaboration between PE „Belgrade Fortress“, Institute of Archaeology of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU), and the Belgrade City Museum, as a part of PE „Belgrade Fortress” Plan and Program for 2010.

The Program is realized with the resources of the Secretariat of Culture of the City of Belgrade.
