Blog

The exhibition by an independent artist, Tijana Mejuhas Bulat, will be set up at the Gallery of the Belgrade Fortress in the Inner Stambol Gate and will be available to visitors from April, 28th to May, 18th, 2022, every day except Monday. The working hours of the Gallery are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the entrance is free of charge.

Tijana Mejuhas Bulat is a painter, a third-year student at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in the class of the Professor Zoran Dimovski.

This year, through her work she researches oxymorons in the nature, i.e. natural beauties which also create discomfort, as well as dichotomies that people carry within themselves – reserve or shyness which are in conflict with the desire to be the subject of someone’s observation and interest.

Tijana was born in 1984 in Belgrade. She finished general high school in Israel, and continued her education in Germany, where in 2007 she graduated from the Academy “U5” in Munich thereby receiving a degree in graphic design. As a professional graphic designer, she focuses on digital drawing and illustration and implements commercial as well as non-profit projects in that field. The desire to profoundly return to her initial artistic expression encouraged her to enroll at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 2019 at the Department of Painting.
