Exhibition of young, but already affirmated artist Danica Veselinović is available to see it in the Gallery of Belgrade Fortress in the Inner Stambol Gate since June 17, every day beside Monday, in the next 30 days. The Gallery is open every day from 11:00 to 19:00 and the entrance is free.

The artist Danica Veselinović, whose works are exhibited, said about her creations:
“I’m finding inspiration for everything that I create in the world which surrounds me. My works are created according to my memories and feelings, impresions and informations that I acquired from objects that I saw.

Thanks to the art, which is my occupation since childhood, I traveled a lot so I had chances to meet a lot of different kind of landscapes- beautifull countrysides created by nature, but also and a significant part of out door ambiance reflected in architecture of towns or villages created by a human being. I believe that this fact made an influence on occurrance of “Apstract architecture” which consists from series of small works on paper, as a part of my own look on art which moulded outside world and on its importancy.

I used to paint landscapes before and I guess that it came by itself that focus of my later researches became architecture.

As I am a great devotee of cubism and part of Russian avangard artists, my expression leads more to reduction of everything I see on pure geometry which is clearly expressed in this series of small works and it seems to me that actually this kind of art expression is very properly connected with motive because architecture is also a mathematical precision, clarity and construction.

I am very happy that I will have a chance that my paints with architectural motives present in Stambol gate, on Belgrade Fortress which is one of the symbols of Belgrade, talking about its architecture and buildings. My opinion is that presenting works in this place, in Stambol Gate, rounds off whole idea on the best possible way.”
