Sculpture “Weary Soldier” was made of bronze in 1935 as a replica of Toma Rosandic’s marble piece which is displayed in the National Museum, Belgrade.

Sculpture “Partisan with children” is the work of Jelena Jovanovic dating from 1950.

Belgrade Zoological Park was opened on July 12th, 1936. The park currently extends over 6 hectares of land and is inhabitated by approximately 2000 species (representatives of around 200 wild and domestic animal species).

Branko Radicevic Monument was put up in 1955. It is the work of Aleksandar Zarin. Branko Radicevic (1824–1853) was a poet. At the beginning he wrote in Germain, but he later joined Serbian literary circle gathered around Vuk Karadzic. In 1883 his mortal remains were moved and buried in Strazilovo.

Marko Miljanov (1833–1901) was a Montenegrin hero, general, duke and writer. He wrote about his own and other people’s experiences. His principal work is The Examples of Humanity and Bravery.

Jasa Prodanovic Memorial Bust is the work of sculptor Sreten Stojanovic from 1958. Jasa Prodanovic (1867–1948) was a politician and historian of literature. He wrote political brochures and collected two anthologies of folk songs and stories.

Jovan Skerlic Memorial Bust was put up in 1967. It is the work of sculptor Gradimir Aleksic. Jovan Skerlic (1877–1914) was a literary critic, professor at the Belgrade University, editor of Serbian Literary Gazette, founder and first secretary of the Association of Writers.

Jovan Subotic Memorial Bust was put up in 1896. It is the work of sculptor Djordje Jovanovic. Jovan Subotic (1817–1886) was a writer and politician.

Ivan Goran Kovacic Memorial Bust is the work of sculptor Vojin Bakic dating from 1969. Ivan Goran Kovacic (1913–1943) was a writer, translator and journalist. His poem Ditch served as an inspiration to many artists, one of them being Pablo Picasso.
