Borisav Stankovic Memorial Bust

Borisav Stankovic Memorial Bust was put up in 1976. It is the work of sculptor Nebojsa Mitric from Belgrade. Borisav Stankovic (1876–1927) was a writer. He was born in Vranje, where he began his schooling which he continued in Nis and Belgrade. His most famous work is Tainted Blood.

His famous satires, namely Danga, Dead Sea, Stradija and Thinking of an Ordinary Serbian Ox depict human relationships which are not confined in time and geographical space.
