Festival of illustration – ILUSTROFEST, which promotes the art of illustration, was opened at Kalemegdan.
Visitors can enjoy illustrations by 80 artist from around the world whose works are presented at international exhibition.
At the ceremonial opening of the Festival, the director of the PE “Belgrade Fortress”, Marija Reljić, addressed the audience. The best authors were awarded, in the following categories: book illustration, illustration in print and online media, illustration in design, personal and socially responsible projects. Also, the best author from this year’s selection was awarded by Grand Prix of the festival.

As part of the Festival, at in front of the Pavilion Cvijeta Zuzoric, the Illustration Fair will be held. Young authors will be able to exhibit and present their illustrations as well as useful objects with illustrations.
As part of the program of the Festival, professional forums for artists will be organized, as well as free illustration workshops for the whole families with the message that art is not only the privilege of artists but should be available to everyone.
