A complex topic about which many historians, theorists, and artists have already said much, has been addressed through the fates of witnesses and participants in these turbulent times; stories of people who spent their days waiting for freedom, as well as lesser-known stories about soldiers and traces they left in Belgrade. One of such stories is an interesting story about a Caucasian walnut on Mt Avala, to which no special attention was paid and dedicated in the previous period.

The exhibition “The Story of Another Life” was realized in October 2014, as part of the program to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Belgrade in the Second World War.
